Summary, etc "Candelario Gerónimo tiene 79 años. Vive en Los Chañares, provincia de Tucumán, en medio del monte, donde construyó su casa de piedra, crió a sus hijos y cuidó de sus cabras. Candelario recuerda con nostalgia toda su vida, las tradiciones que se van perdiendo, la fiesta de La Señalada y la ceremonia de la Pacha Mama, la Madre Tierra. Cuenta con orgullo cómo, hace 35 años, fue de los primeros en organizar a los campesinos, descendientes de los Diaguitas Calchaquíes, para reclamar por las tierras que siempre les han pertenecido. Su historia es la de la Comunidad India Quilmes, donde sus integrantes relatan su lucha y cómo se organizan para exigir que se garantice su derecho a la tierra y a sus ciudades ancestrales, defendiendo su identidad cultural, sus tradiciones y la dignidad de ser Diaguitas Calchaquíes."--envase
