| Summary, etc | Mosén Millán (Antonio Ferrandis) debe celebrar una misa de réquiem por Paco, "el niño del molino". Mientras espera que la gente llegue, va recordando la vida del joven campesino. Paco había sido asesinado el año anterior por unos forasteros. En el crimen participaron activamente los ricos del pueblo y, de forma pasiva e involuntaria, el propio cura. Respetado y querido por sus vecinos, Paco fue nombrado concejal del Ayuntamiento y como tal intentó llevar a cabo algunas reformas en el sistema arrendatario de las tierras de la localidad. Esta fue precisamente la causa de que le mataran. |
